"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." ~ Mark 16:15
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." ~ Matthew 28:19–20
These two commands from our Lord Jesus Christ are the heart of Buckeye Baptist Church. From our first service on September 24, 2000, to today, our purpose has remained the same - to glorify God by faithfully preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
In short, our misson is to "Be Disciples. Make Disciples."
We believe the Bible is God's inspired, preserved, and authoritative Word. God transforms lives through its power and every ministry of our church is built upon its truth. As we seek to fulfill Christ's command to make disciples, we encourage every believer to grow in four foundational areas of the Christian life:

The WORSHIP of God
Growing in a daily walk with the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, personal Bible study, memorization of and meditation on His Word, worship, and faithful involvement in the local church. -
The WORD of God
Building our lives upon the truth of God's Word and learning to apply it faithfully each day. Becoming confident in the face of questions about salvation, eternal security, sin, temptation, faith, and the Holy Spirit. -
The WILL of God
Seeking God's direction through His Word, prayer, the Holy Spirit, and godly counsel as we follow His purpose for our lives. Discovering spiritual gifts God has given each of us to serve and glorify Him. -
The WORK of God
Serving the Lord, learning to share the Gospel without fear, and helping others become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
