We believe that using photos and videos in our electronic and print publications, website, and social media pages enhances the quality of those publications, fosters a greater sense of community among our members, and helps display the vibrancy and joy of our church community. Additionally, we believe that live streaming our services serves as a way to witness to the world and provides teaching, worship, and encouragement for our shut-ins and other members unable to make it to services.
Participation in Buckeye Baptist Church of Southwest Ohio’s weekly services and other events implies permission for the church to use images taken at those services and events. Buckeye Baptist Church will NEVER publish photos or other media accompanied by captions or tags that include names or any other identifying information.
Furthermore, Buckeye Baptist Church wishes to respect individuals and would like to inform you that you have the right to opt-out of inclusion in photographs and other media used for Buckeye Baptist Church of Southwest Ohio’s electronic and print publications, website, and social media pages.
To opt-out, speak with a member of the Buckeye Baptist media team or staff who will provide you with a Media Opt-Out form. Return the completed Media Opt-Out form to the church office along with a photograph of yourself. This information will be kept in a record so the media team and staff can inform the photographer/videographer of your decision to opt-out. They will make reasonable efforts to ensure you are left out of pictures and/or removed from pictures before they are used in Buckeye Baptist Church of Southwest Ohio’s electronic and print publications, website, and social media pages.
Additionally, if the Buckeye Baptist media team or staff ever receives a written request via mail or email by an individual to remove a photo of him or herself from church publications, the church will promptly remove the photo.
