Pastor David had his retina detach in both eyes in 2024. He had emergency and planned surgery on both eyes multiple times over the course of last year (2024). He had been slowly recovering and in various stages of healing most of last year.
Earlier this year (2025), one of his retinas detached again in one of his eyes. He had emergency surgery earlier this year on this "bad" eye and has been slowly been healing and in the recovery process again.
Last week (05/25/25-05/31/25), Pastor David began to lose vision in his other "good" eye. He immediately scheduled an appointment with doctor and it was confirmed that his retina had detached again in his other "good" eye.
Pastor David will be having emergency surgery today, June 2nd, on this eye. Please be in prayer for the surgery, his starting over the long healing & recovery process, and that the underlying causes of these multiple retinal detachments in both eyes will be discovered.
