Yesterday we had our first day of VBS! The kids had a blast arriving in the town of Wonder Junction and learning about the wonder of the birth of Jesus Christ.
During our 10am hour, the kids enjoyed a Bible lesson from Sunday School teachers. During the 11am hour, the kids participated in a Wonder Junction assembly, craft time (train track ornaments), snack time (gold popcorn nuggets & a manger), and game time put together by our volunteers. We ended the hour with a special skit performance and a group music time.
We can't wait for what is in store at Wonder Junction the remainder of this month! We are so excited to continue teaching your young'uns how to marvel at Jesus and live for his glory. There’s no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long - so dust off your boots, grab your bandana, and come punch your ticket to visit Wonder Junction!
