During the month of September, our Children's Ministry is focusing on the theme "God & America."
1 Timothy 2:1-2 states "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."
With this in mind, our children are learning about the importance of praying for our leaders and our country. They will be learning about the influence and importance of Christianity in American history and American values. They will also be taught about the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance, the Pledge to the Christian Flag, and the Pledge to the Bible.
Each week we will have a special guest speaker share their experience living as a Christian in the military or working in politics. These speakers will discuss how their faith and God guided them in their role. This past Sunday, Dumitru shared how we as Christians are set apart and how he lived mindful of his testimony while in the military. Join us these next few weeks to hear Nate & Cole share their experiences.
And join us September 21st for our church’s 25th Anniversary Celebration! In the past 25 years, God has pieced together a faithful congregation where we have been able to support one another and spread the good news of the Gospel. God has done amazing things here at Buckeye and we have a LOT to celebrate! We will have a special outdoor worship service, testimonies, food, activities, games, and fellowship. Spread the word and come join in the celebration!
