Yesterday, Pastor David invited Natalie to share about her book “(Walking) With Purpose" that was published last month.
Natalie was diagnosed with Friedrich’s Ataxia at 10 years old. In that time, Natalie endured surgery after surgery, pain, fear, mental health crisis, becoming wheelchair bound, and much more. Then, on top of everything, Natalie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on the same date 11 years later.
Natalie wrote this book to explore her thoughts and feelings along her journey with chronic illness and share how she has been able to find a purpose for her life despite the challenges she faces every day. In the book, she also shares how her faith in God has guided her through and given her the confidence to be vulnerable and open to the world.
Natalie thanked everyone for all of the support she has received so far. Her biggest hope is that her book can serve as an encouragement to anyone facing disability, mental health struggles, anxiety, loss, or isolation; and that her book would shine a light on the world of disability and chronic illness.
If you haven’t already, pick up a copy of “(Walking) With Purpose" at church or an Amazon today! https://www.amazon.com/Purpose-Natalie-Watson/dp/B0HGM41C3K
